About Schaumburg, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Schaumburg, Illinois is a large village found in portions of DuPage and Cook Counties. It is located in northeastern Illinois and suburbs of one of Chicago’s most prominent suburbs. Only 28 miles from the Chicago Loop and 10 miles from O’Hare International Airport, the village is conveniently located in an area with many economic opportunities. Companies headquartered here include Motorola Solutions, Zurich North American, and the Career Education Corporation. Higher educational opportunities are also available at Roosevelt University and the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg.

As a large Chicago suburb, there are plenty of sites to see and places to visit in Schaumburg. This is a popular destination for families with children, as little ones will love Legoland Discovery Center Chicago, FireZone, and the many movie theaters in the area. The enormous Woodfield Mall is a major shopping destination within the region, and after a long day of shopping restaurants like the Village Tavern & Grill, Pilot Pete’s, and Firehouse Dogs become popular. Despite the urban location, outdoor recreation is also available within the city at the Chicago Athenaeum International Sculpture Park or at Spring Valley.

Situated within a humid continental climate zone, Schaumburg offers residents four distinct seasons. The spring months are the wettest, and severe weather is possible. When it turns into summer, hot temperatures with high humidity are common. Average daily highs often reach well into the 80s, so the right central air conditioner is a necessity to make it through the season comfortably.

Residents of Schaumburg will get a break from the heat when the autumn season begins, as temperatures gradually cool off. However, these pleasant conditions are short-lived, as winter weather in the area is cold and snowy. Overnight lows often fall below freezing, so the right electric of gas furnace is needed to keep home interiors comfortable.
