About Pingree Grove , IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Pingree Grove, Illinois is a Kane County village that is currently experiencing considerable growth. In 2000, there were only about 125 residents. By 2010, the population had grown to about 4,500 residents, and it was expected that in the next decade the number of people living here would soar to over 15,000. Much of this expansion is due to the fact that area farmlands are being developed into housing units, and the community is also an environmentally friendly “Green Town.”

Pingree Grove is a primarily residential community, so there are few attractions located here. However, there are several prominent area businesses, including the Noble Carrot Co-Op, which focuses on selling non-GMO, organic, and healthy food options. The Milk House Ice Cream is a popular stop on a hot summer day, as it offers locally made ice cream, and visitors looking for a good local meal may like to stop at Ginny O’s Restaurant and Martini Bar or Allen’s Corner. Antique lovers might also like to check out the Shoppe Next Door Antiques or the Upstairs Downstairs Shop.

Pingree Grove is part of a humid continental climate zone, and the area experiences four distinct seasons throughout the course of the year. Summers tend to be hot with high humidity, and with average high temperatures that reach well into the 80s, July is the hottest month. It is recommended that before this hot weather strikes, residents use the cooler spring months to have their systems serviced by an HVAC professional. This will ensure they work properly when needed.

During the winter, Pingree Grove residents will turn off their air conditioner in favor if a heat pump or furnace. Snowstorms and freezing weather are both extremely common, and without the right climate controls, indoor pipes and plumbing could be at risk of damage. Talking to an HVAC technician is the first step in ensuring that you stay warm regardless of conditions outdoors.
